Importing statements
SubLens imports the export files your bank or card issuer already gives you. Supported formats are:
- PDF statements
- CSV exports
- OFX and QFX exports
- XML (camt.053) exports
Download a statement or transaction export from your bank's website or app, then import it into SubLens from the Import screen.
SubLens does not use your camera, does not scan photos, and does not perform OCR. It also does not log in to your bank or link accounts — there is nothing to authenticate, and nothing but the file you choose to import ever reaches the app.
Privacy
Everything SubLens does — reading a statement, extracting transactions, detecting subscriptions, and running the on-device assistant — happens entirely on your iPhone. There is no sign-in, no account, and no cloud storage. Your financial data never leaves your device.
Read the full privacy policy.
Deleting your data
SubLens has no accounts and no servers, so there is nothing stored anywhere but your phone. To remove your data:
- In the app, go to Settings > Delete all data, or
- Delete the SubLens app, which removes everything with it.
Subscriptions & billing
SubLens Premium is sold through Apple as an auto-renewing subscription (Monthly or Annual) or a one-time Lifetime unlock. All purchases, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled by Apple through your Apple Account — SubLens never sees your payment details and cannot cancel or refund a purchase on your behalf.
To cancel or manage a subscription, open the App Store app on your iPhone, tap your profile icon, then tap Subscriptions. See Apple's guide: How to cancel a subscription from Apple.
Reinstalled the app or switched devices? Use Restore Purchases in SubLens Settings to restore Premium or Lifetime access tied to your Apple Account.
